Join Us for the Coldest Night of the Year Walk
Dear CUPE 1267 Members,
We are excited to invite you to participate in the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) walk on Saturday, February 22, 2025! This is a family-friendly event where we walk to support local charities that help people facing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. The walk is a great opportunity to give back to our community while enjoying the winter weather with friends, family, and colleagues.
About the Event:
- Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025
- Distance: 2 km or 5 km walk
- Location: There are CNOY locations across Canada, or you can choose to walk offsite in your community.
- Who Can Join: Everyone is welcome! Whether you're a toddler with parents or an active senior, this event is open to all.
How You Can Participate:
- Main Event: Join us at a local CNOY location for a fun, organized walk with snacks, rest stops, and volunteers.
- Offsite Walk: Can't make it to a main event? You can walk wherever you are, whenever you like, with friends, family, or on your own.
No Registration Fee: There's no cost to join the event. Simply register online, set your fundraising goal, and start collecting donations. Each donor who gives $20 or more will receive a receipt.
Why Participate? By walking in the Coldest Night of the Year, you'll feel a glimpse of the struggles faced by those experiencing homelessness in winter. Your fundraising efforts will provide much-needed funds for local charities dedicated to helping people in our community.
Fundraising Incentives:
- Raise $150 or more (for adults) or $75 or more (for youth) to receive a special 2025 CNOY Toque as a thank you for your efforts.
